You might want to kill a legendary that's not hostile to you, or befriend a legendary who is (in which case you might want to carry a love injector or something). ![]() Some you want to befriend, others you want to kill. It's why it's good to be strategic with legendaries. You can trade reputation for skills and secrets and followers, and it's always good to have a surplus in case you want to kill or befriend something that will cause a loss with another faction that you like. With 250 or more, even aggressive beings will not attack you. With -249 or more reputation, being that aren't aggressive will not attack you. It's also a good place to get an early banana so you can clean up your inventory. Usually, as soon as you get some decent money, you want to visit the merchants regularly in case you see something good (like a Schrodinger Unspecified page, a drop of nectar, or cloning draught). You get a decent chunk of EXP from the zealot's quest, and there are tons of merchants there. It's why I think it's best not to go too early.īut it's definitely worth visiting. It's not particularly dangerous to get to, though it's possible you could get lost on the way and appear right next to a dawnglider. Personally I like to visit when I'm around level 10. Some people go straight for it, others wait until after Golgotha. The game does try to steer you that way right from the start, via that zealot at the very beginning of the game.
